ISLAMABAD: Six portfolios for the incoming federal cabinet have been decided, sources said.
According to the sources, Senator Ishaq Dar would hold the ministry of finance while Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan would be given a portfolio of the interior ministry. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi would hold office of petroleum ministry while Pervez Rasheed would be made minister of information and broadcasting.
Khwaja Asif would hold the ministry of water and power while Tariq Fatimi would be made foreign ministry’s advisor.
Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif would leave for Saudi Arab to perform Umrah following the oath taking ceremony of the federal ministers. The prime minister would also meet King Abdullah and other Saudi officials.
